Hi everyone

It’s been incredibly hot since we started back in the field in January. We’re working 12 hour days, rising and leaving with the sun. In the heat of the day it’s around 37 degrees Celsius and everyone (including the monkeys) has different tactics to cool off. Last week we saw our monkeys swimming! It’s hilarious to watch them play and swim in the river. The juveniles dunk each other under and hold their breath as them swim fully submerged underwater. Here’s a video of our monkeys swimming.
